Thanks for the advice. This particular tankless heater has its own flow regulator but the more I think about it I might as well run a hose from my house water heater to the pool and open the valve. I'd get the same unsatisfactory results. I'm going to look at the solar option.

During most of the summer the pool gets to much shade and the water temps stay in the upper 70's. That is to cold for my old bones. I want the heater to raise the water temp 10 degrees. Not using solar power.

This is my first post. I have a 19,300 gallon in ground freshwater swimming pool in southwest Ohio. The only problem I have with it is I don't get to use it as much as I'd like because the water doesn't get warm enough. This swimming season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) I got maybe two weeks...
