Thanks.. So what I'll call the plastic bearing ring that sits on the impellar and a new diffuser arrived as it was damaged as well. I installed the ring with the wider part of the flange on the impellar, away from the pump toward the diffuser. Cleaned everything off, re-lubed etc, but no water...

I'm wanting to locate the plastic bearing ring for the diffuser, and or the diffuser itself. The issue is my Rear'y is 20 yrs old though it seems Hayward is still using the same model number for the newer offering. I'm not sure if the new components will work with my close-to-original assembly...

Thanks... I build R\C models so the soldering is not an issue and that's a great idea to solder the wires only and keep heat as much as possible off the board.

This is an older thread to which I believe my problem points to however it talks about taking the piece off before being able to see the back of it and mine per the pic is easily with a gentle bend. Is this the same \ similar issue or is there one located behind the board as well? Aquarite Not...
