I have a 22' intex pool and don't plan on covering it this winter. I have it drained down about 12" below the inlet/outlets. I have heard that some folks put a pillow in the pool to take the stress, from expanding ice, off the pool walls. What say you all?

Thanks TFP, for a new hobby. With all my hobbies, making mods has been the norm. So I find out here at TFP that pools are no different!!:) And so it begins........... and since I have an Intex.....there are a lot of things I can improve upon.
