    TA before adding borates ?

    I read the sticky about adding borates about 4-5 times, printed it out and I'm ready to add them. However, I read in the thread that the TA should be around 70-90 and mine is a little higher. I guess I just want to double check that I need to adjust the numbers some before I start adding...

    Add more CYA or wait?

    After my Baq-to-Chlorine conversion a couple of weeks ago, I used the pool calculator to add enough CYA to bring it up to 40. I tested after 5 days and got a reading of 30 using the TF test kit.     Started the first doses of bleach yesterday afternoon around 2:45ish, tested and topped up bleach every two+ hours until bedtime & got 4 doses in like that.
