    I do not have a salt pool, but have been thinking about converting ours. The one thing that concerns me is that I have read the abrasiveness of the salt can cause equipment and parts to wear out sooner. Is there much truth to this? Thanks, Dayna

    We need to buy a new pump. Our current pump is a Jacuzzi Magnum Force with an AO smith motor, 1 hp. I notice the Jacuzzi Magnum Force is still available. It would be nice to get that since then we won't have to change any piping, etc. But is there a better choice? Where we wouldn't have to...

    Sand filter sand

    Is pool sand always white? We had a friend tell us that if it's not white, it's really probably play sand and not really pool sand. I saw a picture of HTH pool sand, and it was beige, not white. Anybody have any preferences for pool sand brands? Thanks

    Any recommendations for Sand Filters and Sand?

    We have an old Jacuzzi sand filter that the handle broke off and the top of the diverter broke. The pin in the handle is rusted. We also get vary small amounts of sand in the backwash. We can get the parts, but because Jacuzzi is out of business, I just worry about other issues, and figure...
