New liner time, where to order

I think my doughboy 12x24 with expandable (deep end has been dug out so not flat) liner is about done after I am guessing 13 years. Wanting to order a replacement liner that I can install myself with friends help. Just wondering what people recommend for companies to order from. Thanks, Glenn

Bleach listed % or yield % for calculator?

This was brought up in another thread and I thought I would ask it here since I am the curious type. I did a search and didn't find the answer. The jug of bleach that I use lists the % as 8.25, but under the ingredients list is an asterisk that states that the available chlorine is 7.85%. I...

    Slightly high TA and borates?

I am anxious to add borates to my pool (borax and MA sitting in garage waiting on test strips). My TA is 85 and I don't really have a way to bring it down. Added some water today to bring level up to top of skimmer (tap water is TA-30). Tried to figure out ways to set up some type of aeration...

Emptying and refilling vinyl lined doughboy

I have a vinyl lined doughboy pool that is oval and 6000 gallons and currently using baquacil. I am converting to chlorine and plan on emptying the pool, cleaning as I go, and then refilling it right away. I have a 1" pvc line dedicated to the pool for filling so it will fill rather quickly...

Convert or drain and start fresh?

I have an above ground 6000 gal metal sided, vinyl lined pool with 200lb sand filter and jacuzzi brand pump (can't read specs). Pool is over 10 years old, but I am new owner of the house. Pool has always been baqua, but when I bought the house pool was somewhat cloudy white with pink slime on...
