Has anyone had a roof torn off and replaced while pool is open? We are about to have a total tear off and new roof applied next week, and are concerned about the pool. Should we apply loop loc cover during this, or just keep open? We are concerned about old roofing materials getting into pool.

Need some expert advice. My pool PH appears to like to stay at 7.8-7.9. Last year when I closed, it was at the same level, but I got it down to 7.6. When I opened, it was at 7.2, but within weeks, it was back up to 7.8-7.9 and has stayed there for the last 4-5 weeks. Water is perfectly clear...
