Looks like an old Baker Hydro filter, actual fiberglass. Only issue I could see is getting parts.

We're totally baffled, this heater was spotless inside a week ago, took of the hood, vacuumed the leaves out, vacuumed around the burner tray, heater worked fine (only 2 years old to boot). Today I see a message, no pilot sensed so I open up the front and inside looks like a bunch of cobwebs...

Heater not lighting, pulled out the burner tray to see what's up and everything is crumbling from the rust. No active leaks that I can see. Wondering if others have had this happen. Photos attached.

seam failure Lately we've been seeing a lot of Hayward sand filters failing at the same. I'm curious if board members have had better luck with other brands of sand filters or if this is across the board.

Just wondering if anyone has found a source for the parts needed to fix this issue. I've had the hot tub since 2017 and have repaired it several times so I know it pretty well. I wired the 2 leads together to test and make sure it was the switch and sure enough, it is so the tub is now running...
