Salt Water System vs. standard Chlorine system....we have heard some plaster org.s have come out against the salt systems? any truth to this? Is there normally an upgrade (in quality to the plaster) or is it just that a colored plater is more expensive...or both? any comments would be appreciated.

Have not had much luck in locating a good ference book on I G gunite pool construction. Acceptable industry standards, recommended sizing of appurtances etc. Any comments would be appreciated.

This will be our first pool. After several bids we are about to embark on the task of selecting a builder and getting started. Our location is in the deep south, and our inground gunite sports pool selection is a 3x5x4 (18'xi36'), Jandy 1.5 H.P. filter pump w/CV460 SF cartridge, Jandy chlorine...
