When I'm adjusting the ph to balance the water in the tub the alkalinity drops to below 50 before I can get the ph to stop drifting. I know that alkalinity is a ph booster how do I keep the alkalinity up around 50 while I still have to use ph down to get the ph to stop drifting.

There is a greasy film around my spa I'm new to this and don't know if it's normal or not. Also I've only had the tub for a month and it seems like it's dirty I.E stuff floating in the water that's kinda yellow/brown hope I can get some answers
