Shooting the pool today!

The trees are Spartan Junipers. They should be close to full size now - research says full size is 15-20 ft and 5 ft wide. Any concerns with their root structure breaking into the pool? Should I have some steel sheets put on the pool side?

Our pool builder has started the construction! I'm also shopping for a heat pump with chiller.. Anybody have good/bad things to say about the Aquacal SQ120R? My builder will plumb/wire it up for me. Here's some eye candy.

What do you guys add for anti-slip? I've found that when the concrete is sealed it is VERY slippery.. whereas in the areas where its word down I now have traction again.. Was thinking of NOT re-sealing it.. is that a bad thing ?

Cool man, I appreciate the feedback.. I didn't think I'd be checking the chlorine levels over the winter season.. but I guess I will watch and add bleach as necessary. Thanks!

Raleigh NC Same here.. first year with an inground pool in Raleigh NC - just going to run the pump half time and monitor over the winter.. I've read some mixed ideas on what to do with the chlorine generator level.. currently set to 50% w pump running 12 hours a day. Should I go to say 8 hours...

Any advice on how to build a waterfall / rock water feature would be helpful here! I had my PB pre-plumb but all I have is a pipe sticking up through the concrete because I'm not comfortable enough taking it on yet...

pics of that waterfall! I'd like to see more of that waterfall too - and any building info for DIY'er. I cant see myself spending 1300 bucks on a fake rock.. I had my pool preplumbed for the water feature but its been a pipe sticking up all summer so far.. I really like that look!
