Re: Should I just give up? Can Oh, I was trying to get the yellow to turn red. I still had to add so much to get it to yellow. I will keep SLAMmin and wait for the FC to be at a normal range and try again. The CC is 0 today!!!

Re: Should I just give up? Can OK, I was asked for full battery test results. But, with my chlorine so high (slamming) will the results be accurate? Won't the PH read high?

I was in a similar situation a couple of weeks ago, waited for my kit and have gone so far and saved so much! It works if you work it. When my kit arrived I was overwhelmed but after a few tests and lots of advise it became clear. Good luck and hang in there!

Re: Should I just give up? Can I've only been testing the FC, CC since beginning the slam, I will test full results tomorrow and post them. My CC is down to .5 and I have kept the FC level high as directed. I hope I have it right, I see results daily.

Re: Should I just give up? Can The rise was from 11 to 13 and then it stopped rising. Should I rinse and repeat? I can still see lots of tiny things floating .... I can see so much of the pool bottom now. It made a big difference but it is still a bit cloudy.

Re: Should I just give up? Can I added the DE, results almost instantly, I see a rise in PSI for the first time in a week. I can see more pool bottom. This may be just the trick. After I backwash should I add more DE and keep it up. Still slamming also. Our pool is in full sun all day and...

Re: Should I just give up? Can PSI holding steady around 12 .... we put in new sand and had the pump motor cleaned and it all seems to be working fine. There has been no hi increase in PSI to do a back wash. The water is not green but cloudy.
