    Pressure gauge

The gauge threads are very close to the lip of the multi port valve. I don't think the center mount will clear. Even if it did, it's located behind the filter so I wouldn't be able to see it. I'm hoping the elbow will give me the clearance that I need. 25k gallons Above Ground Plaster Hayward...

    Pressure gauge

My pressure gauge screws into my filter horizontally and always fills with water. I got tired of replacing them so I have not used a gauge in years. Has anyone come up with a fix or come across a sealed gauge? Thanks. 25k gallons Above Ground Plaster Hayward S244T sand filter AO Smith B-129...

I just did three retests. Looks like it's between 325-350. Better than 500 (must of had to much bourbon) but still high. 25k gallons Above Ground Plaster Hayward S244T sand filter AO Smith B-129 pump Build around 1980 TF-100 test kit City water (No restriction)

I'm going to drain half the pool today to try and bring down my CYA levels. There's nothing I can do about my CH level when my fill water is running at 500 CH. I will try to keep my TA down by lowering my PH like you suggested. Ok, I think I understand enough to be dangerous now! Wish me luck...

    Is it really that easy?

I'm paying about $76/month for a chemical only pool service. The price doesn't bother me but, my pool is green about 30% of the time. After reading about the BBB method I'm considering trying to take care of it myself again. So I need to buy a quality test kit, the cheapest bleach I can find...
