Re: Pool Started! - bathroom started 4/4 Hard to see? But, played a little this weekend and hung the 4 speakers. Can't decide to leave them white or paint them tan with the fence. My wife says leave them, they kind of stand out now, but will blend in with the retaining wall, pavers, tree...

Outdoor Island - coming along well.

So, looking at adding an outdoor island near a new pool. I already have a covered patio with Napolean Grill and an electric stainless smoker (best investment ever!). Looking at adding an area with another grill, stainless ice cooler (type you add ice and put beers/drinks in for the afternoon)...

Re: Pool Started! So, got permit finally!!!! Should have inspection tomorrow (3/21) and gunite either Friday or Monday. I am trying to figure out music? I was thinking rock speakers, but most of my yard will be pool and deck. I am now looking at outdoor mounts, one possibility is in-ground...

    looking for outdoor TV's

Our TV is on our deck, covered, but exposed to temp, humidity, etc. (live in Salt Lake city, gets pretty cold and hot). I have a mount that allows for the TV to be taken down in the winter, my lazy butt has not taken it down and this is the 6th winter. Just a normal TV. We have since added a...

I found these too, but they float, so I don't think they will work. I may get some as "normal" deck chairs, seem functional, and light so we can move ahead of wind. http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Th ... oduct.html

Looking at the construction (and price), I would assume they are a good sturdy/heavy build, so I don't know about the wind. I was hoping I would get some other suggestions, but the post is a little dead? I wouldn't mind spending $300 for 4 loungers, but $650 is tough.

Re: Pool Started! We are installing an APC pool cover. The pool company we are using for the install also has a division who represents APC for the area. He promises quick service for life because he represents the specific brand. We looked at a bunch of covers in the process - maybe 4...

Sadly, $650 a piece is a little too much for me, anyone have a similar idea? These are perfect, just too much for my budget at the moment, the pool build and backyard keep throwing me "money surprises" :-) Any direction would be helpful!
