No they just pour at 4am and have the plant add release to the mix to slow the curing process down. If we were to water the concrete it would mess up the colored powder that is stamped in. It will be all pressure washed off after a few days. Then you will see the details of the stamping...

Luckily we don't get too many shakes here in the mountains. I think I want a little lighter than the crushed gravel and maybe slightly darker with the color powder they finish with. Gotta find a picture of something we both will like. No pavers for us as we have already blown our budget out...

Not sure of prices in your area but we purchased our tile on our own. We have 80 lineal feet of step markers which will need 14 sq ft of tile, cost $250 for the tile. Our PB had us buy the tile and is only going to charge us labor to install. Not nearly as expensive as I originally thought.

A little update : Deck grading started this week along with adding drain rock on the back side of the pool. Made that decision after seeing how much clay is on our soil. This should insure that our patio deck doesn't get ruined by the expansion of clay. Hopefully this will be done this...
