Five years on a TigerShark here. Only replaced the filters and did lose a tread due to getting hung on a return occasional hangs on the drain. If I had to do it again, I would still purchase the same thing. Does a good job and easy to clean/operate. Just my $ .02. Good Luck!! Sami

Normal saline is 9000 ppm. Normal saline is used for eye wash, etc. The higher the salt, the higher the comfort level for eyes and membranes. Maybe a bit too much "thinking" than actual... Just my $ 0.02....

should be easy to get the FC level up easily. Just use pool calc and follow closely. Going to take a bit to get to shock level and keep it there, but should stop/kill any organic from exploding. Keep in touch!!!!!

What is your main source of chlorine?

I'm by no means a pro, but it sounds like the start of an algae bloom. FC looks to be a bit low for that CYA level. Let's see what the real pros have to say.

I do use synthetic DE..ie; Filter Helper in my pool. It does help mine with the fine stuff and does make the filter a bit easier to clean. Just my experience and my humble $.02...Good Luck!!
