Testing CYA with Taylor 9056 Comparator Block

Ok, the post I saw showed the other side of this block and it looked very similar to my pic. I see the difference in the two now. The reading I have done said that it was easier to read than the other possibly due to the squared sides instead of the cylindrical tube. Do you know if that is an...

Since you stated you like gadgets, I assume you may like To keep your records in digital form as well. I started using Jesse's excel spreadsheet and love it. Muriatic Acid at Home Dept

I decided to email HD Customer Care Dept over this issue to see what they had to say about this situation. I explained everything that happened to the "T". The following is an excerpt from the email response I got back from them: I am in total shock that this associate blatantly refused to...

Not all the way to the car but he stayed with me and actually kept it in his own buggy until after we had checked out. He then let my buddy have it as we walked out the door.

    Muriatic Acid at Home Dept

Hydrochloric acid (sp?) is what was on one side of the box, Muriatic acid was printed on the other. Not sure if they're one in the same or not but it appeared that way on the box. - - - Updated - - - No, we don't normally have strict laws of any kind. This is the first time I've ran into...

I added chlorine and CYA as suggested on pool math and went to the store to p/u more CYA, Chlorine and Muratic acid. I retested at 17:30. Those results were: FC 1.5 I assume because the CYA hadn't fully taken affect and it was a bright sunny day. pH 7.2 Not sure what happened here for this...

Ok, TF-100 arrived yesterday. I work a 24 hour shift so couldn't start until today. New Liner - New Water, Where to go from here?

Hello all! I am fairly new to pools. We purchased our home in 2013 which came with the pool. Up till now, I just followed the previous homeowners advice the past two years and added pool shock when needed to clear the water and kept the floater filled with pucks. We just installed a new...
