    Upgrading our AG pool

That was my concern, however I did try it and it barely scratched the surface :( Tonight I made a simple water level: and started on the excavation. Tonight it's getting a soaking to hopefully get some more dirt out tomorrow.

Sorry, I should have mentioned I did order a foam bottom pad with the pool as well as a foam cove. I'll do a search as well.

    Ground prep question

With our Intex pool we weren't as picky about the site prep as we should have been, but this time we are going to try to do it right. When we ordered the pool last Sunday we were told 2 to 4 weeks for delivery. Well, yesterday I get a notice that it will be her Friday so it's time to get busy...

I just ordered mine yesterday, but the sales person at Leslie's told me I didn't really need the wall pad. I didn't ask why.... I did order their cove and floor pad which he did recommend.

    Upgrading our AG pool

When we leveled the spot for our old pool we made it 20' wide so the hard part is already done. I do need to do some additional work but at least I'm not starting from scratch.

    Upgrading our AG pool

The last 2 summers we've been using a Summer Escapes 15x48 pool that we had bought used but it was developing more leaks so we decided to pitch it and get a new one. Today we ordered a 18x52 Relaxing Meadows pool from Leslie's with a 20mil liner, foam cove and floor pad, and a DE filter. Looking...

    Herbicides in pool?

Just an update; the lady from the extension office just called and she is pretty confident that my plants suffered winter kill. She said the last 2 to 3 years have been really hard on landscape plants, and that the freezing/thawing cycles we had this year probably did them in. So a little later...

    Herbicides in pool?

They are right across the hall from me :), but she was out today so I thought I would get some input from here until she can call me back.

    Herbicides in pool?

We live in a rural area and have a wheat field right behind the house. Mid January we had several shrubs loose their leaves and some appear to have died (it's a little early to be sure). We suspect the wheat field was sprayed but have not been able to verify that. We did talk to a farmer who...

    Another newbie to the forum

Greetings to all! We are fairly new to the pool scene, my first was a 15' inflatable ring style that we bought in late summer and set up in the back yard. Unfortunately, it was too shaded and we never got the water warm. The next year I moved it to a full sun location and all was well. Last year...
