It has been increasing the chlorine levels, but I don't think it's effectively 10% anymore, as it's not bringing the ppm up as high as I was expecting.

So I recently picked up some 10% strength from my local Fry's for about $3/gal, but I think it may have lost some of its strength. Someone mentioned a date code to be in the past, but I cant seem to decipher it. Anyone know if these numbers indicate the date at all? Thanks!

And $6 / 2 gal at 10% is $0.234/oz, but if you get it at $5, it brings it down to about $0.195/oz

So...if I'm doing it right... $19 / (512 * 0.17) = $0.218/oz of chlorine?

Just talked to them on the phone. They have 4 gals at 17% for $19. Haven't done the math on the $/oz/% yet.

I checked out my Fry's when the wife sent me on a late night ice cream run, and they have it $6/2gal, which isn't too bad, but I couldn't figure out where the date was on em. I'll have to take a closer look next time when it's not 5 mins to close haha
