you could also look at custom boat cover makers, for example custom jetski covers are probably around 200-300 bucks.

Rough coping cutting and scraping everyone (pic)

That's basically what I was thinking some sort of clear to smooth it out, it would have to be UV resistant so it doesn't turn yellow

Ps they are robbing you blind for the globrites. Just ask your electrician plumber to do them for you without contractor knowing lol. Check pricing on the newer ones.

Need urgent help with cracking/leaking pool on a hillside in Austin, TX!

I would lawyer up while you evaluate at the same time and only accept a full tear down and rebuild or they tear it down and you get your $ back. I would not want to eat the cost of that demo job. Here in California there are laws in regards to new homes and warranties, not sure how it is in TX...

Really NEED some input! Dig is done! Coastal SoCal new build

If you are getting rid of the little shelf and just do steps wider would look like this, and maybe 2 globrites or 2 led lights on the side 1 in the spa. My globrites are around 7-8' apart each, I can measure exactly. How bright do you want it to be at night? Mine might be a bit bright lol.

Re: Really NEED some input! Dig starts tomorrow and I'm lost! Coastal SoCal new bui Most likely with those dimensions you will be stuck at 7' max similar to mine before it get too steep and deep area will be too small if you go around 8 feet or so. I would add automation look at the pentair...

For my pregunite/electrical/plumbing the inspector pretty much only looked at to make sure 1) the pvc/electrical pipes had enough 2 part cement and 2) that the pipes were deep enough, he actually measured in a few spots and had the guys fix a couple of areas that were like 1-2" not deep enough...

Being Held Hostage By My Pool!!! (aka Intelliph installation)

I might buy this as well, been researching and reading a lot on the forum. Amazon has the extended warranty for 4 years for $30, it says if they can't fix it they send you a gift card etc. Wonder if this would cover the motor/tubing etc.

    Tile Imperfections??

They can redo that section only. I had 0 cut on my corner of the spa. They sort of cut rows like an octopus legs so the middle can be spaced out and bend. https://i.imgur.com/nr34PT2h.jpg

Los Angeles Build - Signed Contract

Minor issue with the build, I am using bellecrete which is a precast concrete coping. The grout the company provides is a cement based grout, after 1 day of install it is already cracking between the coping. Is this normal? or should I demand a different type of grout that is able to deal with...

I have to fix the fence post prior to Quartzscape so maybe I'll try to jackhammer couple of the pavers see how easy it is to remove, if not I can just overlay a nice porcelain paver on top. The Deck I was thinking about doing real Ipe wood deck, doesn't really rain much at all in Los Angeles...

My sister made a render a while ago to envision the pool, will probably end up doing an Ipe ground level deck around the pool. Still need to figure out how to remove the pavers or just put thick porcelain tile over the pavers (they are cemented/mortared on top of concrete!).

Went with Delorean Gray grout it's a bit darker than the photo shows. The 2nd step it will be tiled only on the riser part to match the bottom of the spa wall. Here are some photos of the grout/tile, 4-5 more days until rest of the tile arrives.

Quick update, the artic lagoon I wanted was in very low stock and they could not promise the correct colors coming in from different warehouses. I went ahead and ordered Sunstone Lagoon (same as Tony's tile) it was a lot cheaper as well so I went a bit to town with the glass bling LOL. As of...

NPT Arctic Lagoon tile discontinued! (cracks/breaks)

NPT in Van Nuys no longer has samples or artic lagoon to give, but they do have in stock some sheets of it, so if you ask they will let you see the whole sheet or maybe buy a sample. Ask the older man that works in the showroom he knows a lot. I ended up not going with Artic Lagoon because they...
