    Great question! We started this project completly debt free including having our house paid off, so we took out a 30 year mortgage for 75k at 4.9%, and pay 3.5 x the minimum payment to have it paid off in 5 years (rocket mortgage). That was our budget for the Pool and landscape project...

    So the PB has the filter system up and running, but he only has it programed to run for 2 or 3 hours in the morning. This is a bit concerning to me, so I brought it up to him, he said it was fine... I really wish I knew how to operate the equipment so I could have the pump/filter run more hours...

    Plumbing is going in today! Pretty awesome to see it all coming together. The pool took about 30 hours to fill from the garden hose! One question I have is how long can the water just sit there without having any chemicals added? I turned the hose off about 20 hours ago.

    WOW... excellent heads up... None of the pool equipment has been delivered to the property yet. I can call the PB and ask what options I have for vaccum cleaners. What do you recommend I ask the PB? Thanks Dirk

    Ok... Just finished testing the tap water at the house... Here is what I have: CH - 70ppm TA - 30ppm PH - off the chart see pics FC - .06 CC - .04 There should not be any chlorine in my tap water right? I am so confused?????:confused: The PH was wicked purple at first.. then I did one drop...

    Tap Water Test Hi all.. I posted in the members section, but figured I might get a bit more exposure here... We are filling our new construction pool this week, and I received my Taylor K2006C testing kit from Amazon. I wanted to test the tap water as this is how we are filling the pool...

    One thing you can do is get a "ring" doorbell/floodlight camera.. .it records everything.. install it in your back yard and have a video and audio record of the progress, what day they work, what time they work, when they show up, when they leave, rain days, nice days, etc... So when you sue...
