Yes I do do add liquid chlorine manually. I usually Have my CYA between 50-60 it just happened to be 40 this last time I checked. It had dropped from the time I checked it before. I thought from evaporation and adding water. I will be raising it today. That is why my FC is kept at 6

Really no idea whats going on with yours, but the only time I had low pressure was when I got some debris in my pump impeller. Once I cleaned it out my pressure went back to normal.

Why isnt there a male to female fitting that goes into the original PVC pipe and then brings it back to the regular size on the female end. That way if your to close to the concrete you can still glue the male end into the short piece coming out of the ground?

Pool math has been pretty spot on for me, but why not start with the lower number if you have concerns, then get a reading after the correct amount of time, and then go from there.

In regards to the cleaner moving, couldn't you remove the cleaner and anchor the hose in the bottom of the pool? Not sure if this is possible or safe for the equipment, but seems logical.

Two more days of draining and replacing. At approx. 8200 gallons of water. FC I am maintaining at proper CYA table amount. Overnight test had a .5 loss PH 7.6 TA 130 down to 110 CH 610 down to 430 CYA 240 down to 160 (80 with dilution test x 2) Seems to be working. I am going to keep going...
