Yeah it’s always the back 9! Worst thing that could happen besides a full whammy bounce back to the face is taking out the projector with a back swing. Projector placement is key for the limited height.

Thought about using 2” thick adhesive backed foam, but it didn’t look good. So we got some heavy duty black vinyl wrapped that around plywood with foam. Did an overlap on the boards with the foam facing the screen so the edges are protected as well. Then ran screws and cover them with buttons...

Just started dabbling in outfitting custom built barns with golf simulators. Pretty fun side job. Lots to learn but coming together nicely! I’ll post more updates of the final results.

I don’t mess with Jandy. I know coverstar has upgraded their cover sensor to a magnetic one instead of mechanical. Maybe your cover sensor is messed up. Also you are not supposed to run the sensor wire in the same conduit that powers the cover motor.

Users have reported the Omni app acting up lately. I have 1 and only noticed this morning. Took a few tries to get everything set.

Message me if you need any help. Flow monitoring and freeze protect kind of mess with the system and scheduling. If the customer closes their pool I recommend disabling freeze protect.

Hayward systems are easy to program. Depending on the pump you might need to buy a conversion board. I know some earlier pentair models are not supported.

Also I had to install an Omni in a basement. I spliced in some cat5 in a weather proof box and it’s been 2 years with no issues.

Not exactly sure what you’re asking. The connector for an Omni PL controller? Or the chip that converts the older OmniLogic display to the wired controller with Wi-Fi?

Mesh winter cover. We had a ton of rain so I was pumping often. One time I just unplugged the sump pump and didn’t pull it and it sucked 70% of my water out. Didn’t realize it until we got 15”s of snow and it broke the springs to my cover. Tried to refill but my hose bib had also froze even...

Got it figured out. I used standard configuration option at 1st. Used advanced this time and everything went smoothly.

You can use the connection spa de for the spa temp sensor and I believe there is also a connection for solar as well
