    Wahoo - bottom drain

Ya let me see your skimmer lid so I can tell you which regulator to get for your skimmer. Also how many skimmers do you have? And with a 1.5 hp pump you're not going to feel anything at your main drain even if you divert all the power to it unless your main drain is only 2".

    Filter pump losing prime

If your pump is grabbing air go to the skimmers and see if you hear a gargling sound. Open up the skimmer lid and see if the skimmer is suckling all the water down. If you look at the weir door you should notice it's stuck in an upwards position blocking proper water flow to the skimmer...

What, me worry? (aka Spider Gasket insurance)

That's a nice bandaid and all but if the spider gasket gets bad enough your water from the pump can bypass the filter or it can even cause sand to blowback into your pool. I wouldn't rely on that for to long.

    Filter pump losing prime

As long as your water lv is high enough it sounds like your weir doors are getting stuck in your skimmers. They are the little flapper in your skimmer that acts like a door. Ask if ya have any questions.

Water features turned off at regular time and spa is draining for some reason…..

Your spa water wants to be the same level as your pool water. If your valves are in the proper positions then there should be a check valve at the return side of your plumbing to stop your spa from draining back into your pool. The check valve could either be at a common return plumbed by the...

    Possible underground leak... worth fixing

As a tip to find air leaks above ground, turn the pump on and prime it as much as it can. Then turn the pump off. If you see water coming out of the valve or the lid or where the pvc enters into the pump then that would be an air leak. This trick works to detect air leaks on suction side of...

Need new pump and my head is spinning!

Hi, the difference is hp between the pumps. The super flow vs is a variable speed that maxes out at 1.5 hp, while the intelliflow maxes out at 3 hp. Since you have 1.5 inch plumbing I wouldn't get a pump over 1.5 hp so if you want a variable speed pump best choice is a super flow vs. But if...

Hi, as long as that flow light on your salt cell is green your rpms are fine. Now for your high fc, your salt call is over sized and you could have went with an ic-20 that would work fine. Also when you test the water make sure you're not testing the water in your pool by any returns as that...

You don't need to release the pressure in the filter to open up the pump lid, just make sure the pump is off. And you should not be getting sand shooting back into your pool when you vacuum it.
