I decided the app sucks unless you pay annually. I just use the browser version.

Or if I feel like keeping logs I use "Pool Logger".

Both give CSI results.
Still no replacement, but they just called and said S1's are on back order and asked if I wanted the updated Seagull Pro. I said yes! Mainly for the larger basket, but also the stronger motor. Will see how long this takes ...
Curious about the "wireless charging". Won't the contacts corrode from a salt pool? Or are you supposed to dry it before placing it on the charger? I'm thinking you could put a piece of 50 micron aquarium filter material in the basket to trap finer debris. Does the handle get in the way when...
Follow up here. Solid "check cell" light came back, so I bought a new cell as a back up, then sent the 3 year old cell in to see what sort of warranty coverage I'd get. 60% off, so got the a new cell for $275 including tax and shipping. Well worth it!
It's solar, if it doesn't have a charger there's no other way. I've been charging in the sun for 2 years without issues. My pool is 75% shade (100% until about noon). It goes a full 14 hours, the one with the charger goes 48 hours.
Not sure why shade matters. I charge next to the grill on my back porch. I pull it out each run and let it sit on the covered porch. Unless you're talking their solar skimmer, then shade matters if it's not cord chargeable (I have Betta cord and no cord). I charge my Betta2 in the sun while SE...
I don't have mine yet, but on my Seagull I put some silicone grease (that I use on pump o-ring), on the rubber. Helps it slide on and seals well. Looks like it would work on this in a couple spots.
My Seagull Pro was going strong for 2 years, no issues until they recalled it a few weeks ago. Have not received the replacement Scuba SE yet, so can't comment. I still have a corded Aquabot I'm using while I wait. Cordless is so much nicer! Can run it with Betta skimmer and not get tangled...
I'd pay the $8 if it was a better app (more similar to Orenda, which I don't use). I finally figured out how to edit the log! You have to move to timeline tab and click a value there. Why can't you do this from the Overview tab? I'll keep trying it.
There's only one at the Playstore, with only a 3.3 rating, probably because without subscribing it seems useless. I can't edit a 4 month old log or overwrite it without the subscribe pop-up.
Is there a "free" AND "paid" app or just free and pay to get unlimited logs? I've tried the app off and on (free) and can never get it to overwrite a log. I enter new values and it just defaults to 4 months ago. Needs to be an "edit" button. Back to Pool Logger I guess.
As I said, 2 or 3 full 24" leaf nets... plus 3 or 4 baskets full in two Bettas. Five oak trees all hanging over the pool. Glad I'm retired and can keep up! Filled a 45 gallon trash can in 2 days.
You may have a bit of a wait, they are probably overwhelmed with the Seagull recall, replacing with S1's. They told me end of April or May. And who knows with all the economic uncertainties. Hopefully we get them sooner!
Last time I cleaned the cell (3 months ago) bubbles stopped at about 15 minutes. If been getting check cell light for 6 months, so decided to return it for warranty. So they said return it cleaned, but now it's been bubbling for 30 minutes and still going. I'm using 9% vinegar. They said use...
Got email saying they're out of stock and will be late April or May. "As a token of our apology, we will include a free beach towel with your replacement order." Wow, a towel for an inferior product, can't wait. Good thing I saved my old Aquabot!
I've had this pool 14 years and have never sealed the 12" stone wall around about 1/3 of the pool.

Is that something that's recommended? It tends to drop sandstone "dust" on the coping ledge. I splash it off and reddish sand goes into the pool. Do...
