Intelliconnect needs jumpers for IN load on relays?

Ahh my bad. I thought it had 4 ports on the RS-485. Yes, I have the manual and have read it several times. Just haven't done this part yet.

Intelliconnect needs jumpers for IN load on relays?

Thanks Jeff, I am about to finish the install tomorrow if it goes well. So one final question, maybe lol... the RS-485, do I wire BOTH to the red/green terminal, or should they be on each of their own? Meaning, in the Intelliconnect, there is 4 screw pins for the RS-485. Do the VPS and the...

Intelliconnect needs jumpers for IN load on relays?

Thanks Jim, I guess since I hardwired my VPS direct to power and I just read to do that w the intellichlor 30 should be too, Ill just be using the RS-485 only. I could hook up my polaris booster pump to relay 2 and keep relay 1 with no power?

Intelliconnect needs jumpers for IN load on relays?

I’m getting down to finally getting my equipment installed. However I am concerned about the Intelliconnect wiring. Do I need to power the Line In? I saw this guy on you tube making jumpers. I thought that’s part of what the relays on unit does, power it! See this guys jumpers; appreciate any...

Thank you for that confirmation. I am going to just get an Inetlliconnect. Seems safer. My idiot pool company tech wired the pump to the switch. Another reason I don't hire them anymore.

last question. Does the RS-485 comm cable from (PN 011056) Intelliflo VSF actually do anything if hooked to the Intellichlor Power Generator comm ports? The yellow green wires. I mean this pump will do simple stuff, but I don't think the Power Generator is sending receiving any data from the...

Curious, does the until auto off in that case or I need to keep an eye on temp to manually turn it off? Sorry, stupid questions here.

I might automate at some point so I'm sticking with all Pentair. Been really impressed with the VPS over our crappy single speed pumps. The last single speed pump died just after 3 years of service and no warranty would cover it.

Right! I saw that, but my pool water can get below 52 in winter, alas not many times in Texas, but it can get down there. I guess I do have a heater :/

Whoa, I read the info on my SWG, I got it today, and it says it can only operate 52˚ F or higher? For real?

Why don't you guys recommend the Intellichlor cell? Is it bad? I thought most stuff by Pentair was pretty solid, but then again, I had no idea.

Thanks for the reply! OK, I can do 24/7, with my Pentair Intelliflo VPS, I can go down to around 25 gpm? It won't kick over the water FALL. That takes around the 30 gpm to 35 gpm range. My hot tub does the classic falls (as you can see) into the pool. I can "Dribble" it down and probably creates...

My signature has most of the important stuff, but today I bought: Pentair 520554 SWG IC20 Pentair 520556 IntelliChlor Controller Pentair 520670 IntelliChlor Acid Cleaning Kit and from reading, I also bought a Pentair 350122 Comm Cable for my Pentair Intelliflow VS Pump to talk to the...

    Another SLAM question

The pool is 5 feet in center and about 3 feet deep on each side. It's really small. a) FC was 8.5. B) added 128 LC right before return C) after 30 minutes it raised it by 1.5 to a whopping 10.

    Another SLAM question

Ok just did this test. looks like the 128oz of LC raised it 1.5 ppm. wtf am i doing wrong? I just got the pink color to change to clear in 20 drops. so we went from 8.5 FC to 10 FC in 30 minutes after adding that. geezus. It's got to be Darnty chlorine.

Its got to be the chlorine. I just tested. I was at 12.5 FC this morning and now down to 8.5. I'm running a new test with a fresh 128 gallons right before the return. will test in 30 minutes, same spot, same depth. Here is a photo of the only date stamp i can find on the Chlorine box from leslies.
