The water level at the top of the steps and a liner section that looks dislodged from the track makes me suspect leaking. I could be wrong but figured I’d highlight it.

Gonna agree with above. But I can also suggest that there may water leaking into the soil and helping that soil move even more. I don’t think a cantilever style deck is going to change anything. It’s actually a little harder to deal with decking problems when the deck is over the edge of the pool.

The algaecide is not dangerous to people per se, just the equipment, but the low chlorine level of 1.5ppm can be. That’s what everyone has been trying to say.

Really? I’d definitely confirm that. That’s crazy for drinking water.

The hose water sample is likely inaccurate. If there’s another store to test at, try taking a sample there. Have you been adding algaecide or chlorine pucks with “blue” in the name?

Look around at some threads for the core models. They seem to have sealing issues at the cell.

When the clay gets wet it won’t be so hard anymore.

There was a thread somewhere that said to try using a brand new battery. I don’t remember the details on it but something like removing the battery and replacing it fixed the issue. Might try that.

Is the copper 11.8% the concentration of copper in your water now or what’s in the algaecide? Copper algaecide is more expensive than chlorine and doesn’t sanitize the water(it just kills algae).

How are you determining that it’s always on at 100% and that the salt is depleting? Salt is not depleted in the process. Are you relying on the electronic salt measurement?

If you’ve got any kind of warranty with the builder still, that would be call them ASAP.

Try adding water to the spa only and see if the conduit spouts more water. Given it’s got water now indicates it needs to be mounted higher up.

Happens all the time. Just get as much out as fast as you can.

For the CH test keeping adding drops until the color stops changing. If you add a drop and it doesn’t change anything, ignore that drop and record the result. 10ppm either way isn’t a big deal like mentioned above.

Can you post pictures a little farther away so the ground is visible or so the whole area can be seen?

Ok. I’m not as confused now. 👍 like said above, stick with the 10ml sample for the FC testing.

The FC may actually be higher if a 44ml sample was used by mistake for that test as well. Would be good to double check all of the tests. Edit: or it might be lower if the water sample is too large?

44ml? Check the instructions again. It should be 10ml for high TA and 25ml for normal TA range.

Your pH should be rising quite fast with a TA of 250ppm and not dropping. Something doesn’t make sense. You are using the Taylor test kit and got the test provider down ok?

More than hundreds, depending on the extent is my guess and where you are located.

You don’t seem to be testing with a kit that TFP believes is reliable. Be careful trusting whatever you’re using that came up with 307ppm

It’s leaking. Depending on how extensive the cracks are and why they happened the cost to fix can be quite a wide range. Letting water leak out into the soil will cause damage if it’s not repaired.
