Hi all, Its been a bit since I have last posted.
Since my last posting, a significant portion of the coping did not adhere to the bond beam on the raised section along the back wall. The pool is now 4 years old and the tile work is out of warranty. I have contacted the builder and asked if there is anything they can/will do since the this looks like the mortar bed was not properly prepared and the tiles not properly set, but I don't have high hopes for any resolution out of them.
One thing i do note, is how deep the mortar bed is. I am not used to seeing mortar that thick and am of the opinion its part of why the coping didn't adhere well.
If I have to go the DIY repair route, what are the steps and materials I should take/purchase to reattach the coping to the bond beam?
