Hello, I am currently vacuuming my pool using hose hooked up to skimmer. I am looking for an alternative I don’t mind doing the vacuuming manually but would prefer not to have to drag out the house and hook it up. A handheld vacuum that actually works and can handle leaves and that sort of thing. I would prefer answers from people who actually own the product and have real experience also if you have owned it for a while and can speak on its durability would be great too

Hey Tck !!

Search the forums for pool blaster max / Li. Many are happy with it for light cleaning of smaller pools.

The riptide SL/XL has great performance, but much more cost.

I can agree vacuuming the hose method will get old pretty fast besides your adding undue debris to your filter that ordinarily wouldn't end up in there. Not sure you have the plumbing for a robot cleaner running off the filter pumps but best is the robotic cleaner not tethered to the pool equipment. I have the RIPTIDE SL but expensive and also have Watertech precision 2.0 but has its limitations and not made to clean the complete pool. I use it for spot cleaning when the pool is primarily clean except for some debris here and there.
