I saw a product once but can’t find it anymore and don’t know how to search for it.
It’s like a brush that attaches to and hangs down from the forward lip of a standard aluminum cover lid for the purpose of keeping leaves out of the cover housing.
Anybody can steer me?

So I made my own. Got the strip brushes and strip brush holders from Zoro.com. I used Loctite Power Grab Heavy Duty to glue the strip brush holders to the underside of the cover lids.
I’m showing it here on my spa but I also put it on the pool.
Works great! No more leaves blowing into and clogging up my cover housing. Didn’t even need to trim the bristles.IMG_2384.jpegIMG_2379.jpeg

Follow-up on this. for any interested party. I used Loctite Power Grab to attach the strip brush holder to the lid. Fast forward to today and every single one has failed. Useless product!
I re-did a couple of them about 6 months ago with JB weld epoxy and the other two today. Proper prep being sanding with 100 grit and acetone, then clamping and curing for 15-24 hrs in a warm place. The ones I epoxied 6 months ago are solid.
Otherwise the strip brushes have done their job very well and I have almost no debris (leaves, twigs, etc) in the housings.

A couple of stainless nuts and beveled screws counter sunk would be my go to method.

Now you need this.

I use this on my spa cover pump. It transfers water to the pool cover. Then the pool cover pump has a short hose that goes to a drain pipe. I used to have one on the pool pump too shooting into the grass, but it made my side yard too soggy. The spout works really well and its main advantages are not having to deal with a hose that will freeze up.
