Skimmer water level

So I have the water level 1/3 up the tile or skimmer mouth, it’s skimming great, it’s a Paramount Venturi skimmer which I HIGHLY recommend, so much better than the standard skimmer I had in my last pool build (2016). So down the water level look low? The reason I stopped at 1/3 up the tile is that at the skimmer mouth, the flat tile in the mouth of the skimmer actually drops down on a 30 degree angle as the skimmer body/mouth sits a little lower than the waterline tile so 1/3 up at the waterline tile is closer to halfway at the skimmer mouth or wier door. When the pump does it’s morning high speed run, there is a whirlpool in the skimmer, that thing really pulls in some water.

Should I just leave it alone? I am afraid to raise it and not like the skimming action and have to lover it again and chance having a ring! That happened at the last pool.
