I just moved to a new house with a pool. I'm starting up my pool for spring season.
I'm new to pools but youtube and forums are helping me a lot.
When using circulate mode I have a nice flow in the pool, however when I use the filter flow is very low also from the start.
Pressure is 10 PSI and low in green. I have an hayward pump and 7 large sand filter 2/3 filled.
I did backwash and rinse but still the same water in filter seems clean. Baskets are clean.
I'll have to check Empeller
Water is not clean in pool so I expect pressure to increase and flow decrease but not directly from the start.
Can the pump be damaged when the flows stays low for longer period?
