Hi

I am getting a fiberglass pool made and have the following design

We are short mid 5’ parents and bunch of smaller kids, looking to have volleyball net installed so did the sports style.

Are the transition distances and steps all look okay? Are they also USA standards compliant?

We are currently building a 16x30 sport pool and are also vertically challenged people. We have two kids (4yrs & 1.5yrs).

We have some friends that have a sports pool and we copied their design in a lot of ways.

They opted for lots of flat shallow end with steep angles to the deeper water.

So, our pool is stadium step like it appears yours is (3’ 6”) than a 4’ deep shallow end (7’ 3”) than angle begins to deep end (5’) than floor of 5’ deep end (2’), than angle back up to shallow (5’) and finally another shallow end (7’ 3”).

Looks like you’re building a 36’ long pool so you have more room to work with but you may consider having more flat shallow end on either side of the deep end. It’ll be easier to play games and give much more room for people to not stand on a slope.

Heres a quick layout here to help visualize.

Good luck!
