Hello Everyone,
I've been noticing what look like greyish discoloration on the top edges of my pool start to appear quickly over the last couple of months. Started in one area and has now started to pop up around many parts of the pool, some on the bottom as well now. I've been battling high ph for a while now and calcium hardness has been hanging around 195-210 over my last few months of tests. They don't look like iron or copper stains. They are smooth to touch and when under water look almost clear as is the surface is just fading. I was thinking maybe calcium is too low and its pulling from the surface, or maybe ph has been high for too long causing it. Any thoughts are appreciated.
Some low quality pictures are attached. Some from above looking down and some from under the water looking at the corner of the bench seat.
Chlorine pool approx 19000gal, latest test showed ph 7.9, hardness 195![20230821_172137.jpg 20230821_172137.jpg](https://www.troublefreepool.com/data/attachments/276/276774-690800fcdefdac5746c8003ffd50ec69.jpg)
