Opening numbers

I got antsy and decided to open today. Water was dirty but no algae. After being open for about 3 hrs I ran a set of tests just to see where things are and I think it’s a pretty good start. Not making any changes but will check again in a day or two. I know salt is low but won’t be adding yet. I should mention all I added was 1lb of Dichlor shock about an hour before this test.

Thoughts? Mainly just want to make sure I start off on the right foot.

Give it a full day and see then. Maintain FC target for 40 CYA until then. If the #s remaim mostly unchanged, you're sitting pretty.

I just got the fancy label pool salt at Home Depot for $8 a bag. Their water softener salt was $10 a bag. Walmart was also $8 a bag.
