Exposed PVC, best way to fix?

My PB put 12” coping down, instead of 15” as planned, on 3/4 of my new pool. When they ran out of material in July they let me know if the mistake and said they had no more material. Last week they updated me that they should be getting more coping late October. They also let me know that the remaining wall will not have ledgestone on the exterior. I’d like to finish the wall, but it will extend further out than the coping. Also, I am concerned that the pvc pipe for the water feature is visible, and liked the clean line in the plan. They said they can cut some of the gunite, but the pipe will be visible and can’t be moved. Not sure what to do and would love any advice. Thanks!

Maybe build a smaller raised area over the pipe to put a planter or some other decorative items?
