Do I need to SLAM or am I just paranoid?

Here are my test results from today:
FC 4.5
CC 0.0
pH 7.8
TA 70
CH 325
CYA 70
SALT 2800 (though SWG app says 3500, so I'm not quite sure what to believe here. The water tastes rather salty currently )

My numbers seem okay to me, but I'm noticing that the water is looking a bit dull - I wouldn't say cloudy because I can still clearly see the bottom of the pool. We are in the middle of a pretty nasty heatwave in the northeast, and we have had quite a bit higher bather load as a result (both amount of people and for a longer time).

I've never done a SLAM before and have thankfully been able to maintain a pretty sparkly pool for the season since following the poolmath/TFC guidelines - but is this when I should or should I just increase the FC a bit and hope it clears up? I want to try to stay ahead of an issue but also don't want to go through the time/effort of a SLAM if it isn't quite necessary.

Any suggestions/insight would be welcome. Thank you!

Actually, just the fact you don't have CCs doesn't mean you don't have something in the pool. An Overnight Chlorine Loss Test is helpful to rule out something "living" like algae. Overnight Chlorine Loss Test

WHen my water doesn't "sparkle" I find my pH is high. Once I lower it with muriatic acid the sparkle returns. Try going down to pH of 7.4-7.6 and see if that does the trick?
