Swim clear manual air relief leak

Got this leak… I see the o ring on the orange part isn’t sold separately but I found a matching one in a plumbing kit. No effect on the leak. I looked inside to check for cracks and debris. Nada. Tried cleaning it all out with a tips and relubed the o ring. Any ideas or should I just replace the whole valve?

Tried that. Removed the o ring, cleaned the channel and relubed. Also tried a comparable AND one size over o ring. No effect. Must be cracked or damaged inside that I cannot see. The valve is under 20 bucks so I went ahead and ordered a new one.
