New yellow stains above water line

Hello!

I’m pretty new to all this but it seems to be going fairly well. One problem I can't seem to fix though is a yellowing above the waterline (see images)

I think it might be from pollen as it's not a uniform line around the pool. Really not one hundred percent sure though. It's a vinyl pool liner if that helps.

I've tried a bleach and water mix, and a vinyl cleaner but no luck getting rid of it.

Any ideas?

Crushed vitamin c tablets in a sock or nylon wetted and held up against the stain. If it lifts it’s iron.
 
I agree it’s a long shot, but I’m thinking splash up perhaps. It’s easy enough to rule out for sure though.
 
Have you tried a magic eraser? They shred pretty quickly around the pool but you might give that a shot as well.
