I slammed my green pool and it cleared up but was very cloudy. It never got clear. At the beginning of the process my CYA level was zero, so based on the pool calculator I added the 12 pounds necessary to raise to 45, and applied to my pool in the method recommended by TFP (sock in front of return). However, I am wondering whether it dissolved properly. When I run my vacuum there is a fine white dust that gets picked up, and when I back washed earlier today same thing – fine white dust all over the sidewalk. I tested my CYA just now and it’s back at zero. Has anybody ever had a similar issue? Totally at a loss for what I could be doing wrong here.

I wonder if that wasn't dead algae or something else. Once the stabilizer dissolves and gets squeezed-out of the sock, it's pretty much in suspension in the water. Has the pump been running all the time? What type of filter do you have? I don't see your equipment listed in your signature.
Also, do you have your TF-100 yet? Sig shows "in-route".

Have you ever opened and done a sand deep cleaning? If not, it may be time. The sand accumulates a lot of junk over time and the deep clean helps to released stuck particulates and prevent sand channeling.

Odd that you are showing no CYA though. 
How long ago was it that you added the stabilizer? It all squeezed-out into a fine milky substance correct?

Another odd thing to look at is that I'm showing 12 lbs of granular stabilizer would increase teh CYA closer to 60, not 45.
We got a brand new filter a couple weeks ago. So that is definitely not the issue.
You might be right about the CYA level, i’m sure I put 12 pounds in but maybe I was aiming for higher than 45. At any rate yes, it did dissolve into a milky white substance over the course of time and I would squeeze it after it had been in there for a while. I filled up the sock at least three times over the course of several days.
