Hello,
I recently installed my agp, and noticed 1000s of these fuzzy things floating about my pool. Its extremely annoying. I been cleaning every day; just for a 1000 more to show up. It doesn't end lol. My assumption is that it's dandelions but I figured I ask here to be sure incase it's actually something else. I also got a lot of dust like floating inside the pool (assuming it's from the dandelion)

I included a couple of trees that are near me pool.

Note: pools has been uncovered

Salt 3000
Ph 7.6

So ultimately, am I right? Or is this something else?
The goal was to build a deck eventually and add a cover to the deck but my lord, I think I need to build the deck this week.

Hello Jaye, looks like native oak tree springtime pollen sprouts/droppings, I live northeast of you in Port Orange, FL. but have a birdcage and still get the same wind driven droppings threw my screens, welcome to pool ownership..LOL. When this happens this time of the year you can skim the surface with a hand held skim net, and be sure to use those food worker hair nets, (Amazon $10.00 for 100) on your skimmer basket to keep them from entering your filter. Enjoy your new pool.

Thank you so much; I'm definately going to get some sort of basket net today. It's been a nightmare!!! Do you know how long these dropping last for? I'm trying to determine if I should build the frame of the pool asap (to attach a cover as well) or suck it up and skim away (depending the length of the dropping/pollen)

Typically a spring time event, depending on the climate each year. It can change, but I'll say it begins the back end of March thru May.
Yes, uncovered pools in Florida on wooded lots equal lots of TLC.
