power not being relayed to main pool filter pump

Hello,

I'm fairly new here and I hope to get some expert advice from all of you. My pool has a pebble tech salt system which I quit using over ten years ago as it was more hassle than just using chlorine tabs. Last night I noticed my pump didn't start up and I noticed that the pump was spinning by hand I figured there was an electrical issue. I noticed when I turn the power on manually that a clicking sound came from the pebble tech softener unit. I have a spa pump and it ran on a separate breaker so I swapped the power supply to the pump with the spa power and it turned on. My question is how do I take apart the pebble tech computer box so that I can bypass the unit? I have attached some pictures of the setup for reference. Thanks in advance for your help!

So there is a pump that runs to the pebble tech unit and that pump isn't turning on like it should? Is there anything else attached to the pebble tech unit?

Can you take the cover of the pebble tech unit off and take a picture?

The box looks like a Hayward Aquarite.

It probably receives power from the timer at the same time as the pump.

Show the inside.

If the display works, check the diagnostic readings.

The problem is likely to be with the timer or breaker.

Check for the voltage between terminals #1 and # 3 on the timer to see if you are getting 230 volts between the two terminals.

If no voltage, check for 230 volts at the breaker.

If no voltage at the breaker, the breaker is probably bad

If you have voltage at terminals #1 and #3 of the timer, check for voltage between terminals #2 and #4 when the timer switch is on.

If no voltage, the timer is bad.

The timer is new and is making noise so I think it is not the issue. I will upload a picture of the control panel for the pebble tech chlorine generator. Thanks for your help. I will test voltage in timer box when I take the picture.

I attached the picture of the pebble tech Nature Soft system. I noticed that the salt system is dasiy chained from the timer and power is then daisy chained to the heater. There is a red, green, and black wires that feeds the heater. All of the systems are getting power. My thoughts is that I can disconnect the wires running into the nature soft and run them directly to the heater. I can also cut the loop that feeds to the chlorine cell and connect directly into the valve leading to the pump.

What voltage are you getting line to line?

The box is an Aquarite from 2005.

The pump is probably not getting power.

You need to verify that you have 230 volts between terminals #1 and #3 and terminals #2 and #4 on the timer.

You have to measure 240 voltage line to line and not just 120 volts line to ground.
