Help me identity this skimmer or the logo

I've been using a metal strainer in my skimmer bc the basket was missing when we moved in and I could never properly identify the skimmer. I need to correct that and get the proper basket. Can anyone identify this logo? It is either a fancy "J", a fancy "P", or swirling water. Or can you identify the skimmer? Skimmer has 2 ports in the bottom, 1 is plugged.

Can't help with identification but I was in similar situation - just measured skimmer opening width and found numerous options on Amazon that all fit. Don't overthink it, I'd say.

I was hoping to avoid the hassle of the basket not measuring what it says online and avoid crappy fit... maybe I am overthinking it.

Are baskets normally measured at the outside of the lip that holds them up or the outside of the basket not including the lip?

I believe this is the same one. Or at least greatly in the right direction.

It certainly appears that way! I actually looked at that one on inyo yesterday but it said it was for vinyl/gunite, I have a fiberglass pool. I'm also really ignorant about all of this. The pool is 23 years old, I've lived here 4 years and previous owner wasn't helpful at all (he wasn't just ignorant he acted on his ignorance and screwed many things up instead of getting help and advice when he didn't know what to do).
