Leaking Jandy valve

Daughter's newly purchased home's pool filter is on last legs I think.
This black Jandy valve is leaking I believe from underneath the round valve body. In picture below, you can see the wet streaming down from the round valve body onto the lower sections.
My question: Is there likely a crack or if I take the top off, are there replaceable parts in the valve that might stop this leaking?

I'm afraid to open the valve up as everything on it seems to be "fragile" due to age (I'm guessing this is from 2000 or earlier).

Thanks!

It's hard to see for sure from the picture, but is there any chance that's just coming from higher up than the wet areas you can see in the picture?

If the leak is coming from higher up... with everything turned off, unplugged and so on, you can remove those six bolts on top and have a look at the o-ring underneath. Pool stores would have a new one. Buy some silicone lube while you're there, spread some to coat the o-ring and replace the assembly. Tighten the bolts in a star pattern, finger tight, then adding pressure evenly bringing the pressure down gradually on each one.

Otherwise, if it's a crack in the main molding of the multiport valve, TBMK, you can buy the entire multiport valve for around $200.

No, I'm convinced it is coming from underneath; hard to get a good photo on it though.
Feeling with my finger I don't feel a spot where a topside screw might be somehow penetrating the bottom -- is this true?
If so, I'm assuming it must be cracked somehow. Agree?
