Bought a leaf net for leaves... Secure it with?

Never got much feedback on this, but thought I'd pass along my solution anyway. I bought some deck boards (found some super cheap ones at Lowe's that they have subsequently jacked the price up on!). Had a couple of 16 footers that had been warped and were just in storage, so I only needed 6 boards - 10 footers were about $6 each. The 10 footers weigh about 15 pounds and the two 16 footers I have on the end weigh about 25. I used some really crappy duct tape I had and taped the ends and any snaggy areas on the boards so they won't tear the net (not sure how delicate it is but why chance it). I'm going to take some bungees and hit the corners and maybe a couple of other spots too.

I figure, yeah, it's more storage, but I can stack the boards up. They won't break or burst or need replacing and the weight should be enough (not sure water bags weigh when "half filled" as recommended). Even if I hadn't scored the super cheap boards, it still would have only cost me around $100 for materials. Since water bags are more than half that and need to be replaced frequently from what I've read, I figure I'll be ahead in the long run. Besides, I only plan on keeping the net on until the leaves are done falling.
