I have a regular cover but what I've seen year after year is when the leaves comes down they end up getting wet and in the middle of the pool and the next thing you know theres a frozen pile there.
So I bought a leaf net and plan to use it to pull the leaves off once they finish. And maybe even in the spring when we have some junk coming down.
I've read that water bags are a yearly investment but what should I secure the net with? I'm thinking about using some short bungees and connecting between the grommets on the leaf nets and the d rings for my cover springs. Of course the manufacturer says this will void the warranty (why the heck do they have grommets then??), but it seems like a reason le solution to me. Am I crazy?
