Ok so bear in mind I am a newbie. And my pool is only 700 gallons.

So since I stopped going to the store to get my water tested and started following the TFP ideology last month my water has never been clearer.

I typically test for FC and PH daily, and TA, CH and CYA weekly and things were going well....until 2 days ago. I tested in the morning and FC was 0 and PH was 7.8....unusual. I got nervous and added 13oz of chlorine, which was more then the app recomended.

Then yesterday I did a 12 hour shift and came home late, figuring it needed some chlorine I added 6oz without testing and went to bed.

This morning I tested, FC 0 again. Added 12oz of chlorine at 9:00am. Retested an hour later, FC now 1.2. What? That's never the case. I add 13oz again at 10:00am. Retest at 11:00am it's now 1.6. Add another 10oz chlorine.

Retested just now....FC is 0 again.

Noone used the pool the past few days. The water is crystal clear. Should I do the OCLT?

Try adding enough chlorine to reach target for your last CYA level, run that monster pump for 15 minutes and test again. If you're not at target, the chlorine is likely compromised.
That's the problem, everytime I added chlorine, I added more then the amount the app recomended to reach the target FC. You know what I'm just buying some new bleach and try it. If I still see some problems I will do the OCLT. I have a feeling you're right and the chlorine is compromised.
