We have the 16x32 ultra frame index pool and this year we noticed the black rubber weld has cracked right where it bends. There are no parts for this as it is welded right to the side and this black rubber is pretty thick. What are the chances we can actually repair this as it is on a bend? Its this black piece...see photos, and its where the flat circle goes into the tube so right at the bend...this isn't our pool in the pictures its just from the set up video, just wondering what if anything can be done? I can't find the Aqua EZ Vinyl Pool Repair Patch Kit in Canada, tried our Lowes here and it isn't available, but its a crack on a part of the pool that bends a lot. Just wondering if anyone else had this issue...

awesome, right now we have Hayward pump and using the intex filter, they don't work great together, had to jig something to make them connect. Not ideal. Would love to turf all the intex stuff and hard plumb the whole thing but have NO idea how to do that! LOL

lots easier than you think it would be. just takes some time and patience. i think if you were to just cut out that circle and put in that part that i showed you, everything would be fine. i am sure if my idea is not right someone with something better will chime in soon. this was just my opinion. what was that port used for?

We put these in our pool to replace those crappy suction side outlets. Strongly recommend, and don't be afraid about cutting the pool. Take your time, use the washer as a template to mark the liner with a sharpie. You can have someone hold a bowl over the outlet from in the pool to cut down on leakage but I was able to do it without that. Just start at the bottom and work towards the top so the water gushing out doesn't obscure your view!

Edit: these use the bigger 1.5" intex hoses
