Need help with how to set up plunger valves, video and directions do not show how to put them together or connect them to this pool 16x32x52 Intex Pool. Does anyone have instructions or pictures? The video shows the valves connected to the pool, my husband has the white plastic tubes hooked up to the pool connecting together with the valve... We're in the process now but kinda stuck.
thanks

ps. UPDATE : Pictures & links below helped!

There should be a valve with two inlets. The suction side should have two hoses going to two inlets on a valve and then one hose from the pump to the pump suction inlet. Then the single hose from the filter to a single valve and return to the pool.

Hi there... the answer to your question is no... probably not... the 2 smaller hoses are of a different diameter to the white return hose... which means the pump will not be able to pull enough water in to fill the pump basket. (The clear plastic lid)
Also your salt generator needs X amount of water flow to generate chlorine.
A much better idea would be to hard plumb with one and a half inch pvc pipe... thhat would give you much better flow... there's several threads on how to do so on this forum... just hit search HARD PLUMB.

I do have a valve with two inlets, those inlets are connected to the two black tubey things on the middle and right. You just can't see it because the tubes are too long and it's laying on the ground - need to shorten it. I think I have it right, I'll try to post another pic, maybe you can look for me :)

This is what I'm thinking too (hard plumb) as the filter etc is not where I want it to be anyway. Where I'm thinking of moving it will be about 40 feet away from the holes.
Will that work with only one if it's a larger diameter?

The 2 clear tubes are connected to whats called a T piece... then off the T piece is 1 white tube going to the inlet of the pump strainer basket.. then it flows to the filter which removes the dirt in the water... then it flows through your salt generator which makes chlorine gas and that then returns to your pool to sanitize the water.

In answering your question about will it work with just one pipe... if you hard plumb then you have the same diameter pipe coming out of the pool as going back to the pool... so yes that would work...
Just not with the hoses you have right now.

As to moving your pump 40 feet away from the pool... im not sure how powerful your pump is/how many gallons per hour it pushes out.... the further away your pump is the harder it has to work to get the water back to your pool... what this means is if your pump is not that powerful and you move it to far away from the pool your pump has to work 3 times as hard... which puts alot of strain on the pump and COULD cause it to fail prematurely...
I do hope I've explained it clearly enough for you to understand... if not do tell me... i can take it.. lol
