Is this algae?

Relatively new pool owner going through the SLAM process. Started Thursday after a partial drain to lower CYA and the pool is almost clear, i've vacuumed a ton of dead algae up and cleaned the filter several times. I have a spot that looks like possible black algae, and some green/black along the tile grout lines. I've scrubbed all these for a few days with no change so i'm wondering if they are really algae? The rest of the pool is essentially clear as of a few hrs ago.

I've attached a few pictures and hoping the experts can chime in. This is my first pool so i'm not that familiar with what is/isn't algae.

Looks like regular old algae on the grout lines. Some sprayed on bleach and extra scrubbing with a stiff brush should get that. I have some trouble getting the grout to come clean sometimes after the solar cover holds debris against the grout fpr a month or more.

That could be black algae on the wall. Does brushing remove it? Have you tried the paper towel smear? More here, Pool School - Black Algae
