We interviewed Riverbend, Foley & Hauk and ended up going with Riverbend. The process went pretty smooth and I would definitely recommend them. They were a little more expensive than Foley.

Filling Today Well, we are filling the pool as I type this. We had some uncertaintly the past week with the pool builder temporarily shut down due to a lawsuit but they came through and finished up the plaster on Monday. Updated Photos Now time to tackle the landscaping!

BTW, the area where the lady lives is notorious for foundation problems. We looked in that area before moving to Frisco and everybody warned us away. Also, I wonder if they contact the PB about the leak in a timely manner? Or, did they just keep putting water in ignoring the problem?

I talked to the salesman and super today. They agreed to split the cost of the sprinkler work which I think is fair. Just a miscommunication between salesman and us during the final stages of the contract. Overall very happy with Riverbend.

The only reason we are questioning them is they told us they would set up a sprinkler zone to fill the pool. Again, not in the contract but we definitely discussed (my wife who has a much better memory confirmed). Oh well, I'm not gonna flip out over it but it bothers me when a salesman...

Our PB also did not include landscaping. They said they would work with a landscape company of our choice and combine it into one contract if we wanted to do that for a loan.

In our town the rule is you need to be as far away from the house as the depth of the pool. So, if your pool is going to be 6 ft deep you need to be at least 6 feet away from the house.

Well, I made the switch. Cost is about $1200. This is something my wife wanted from the start so it will also buy me some points at home. :lol:
